Usually a women’s 8.5 but it was huge, probably getting a 7.5 when back in stock.

Love this fit and comfort

So originally, I bought these shoes for just working out and working long hours. But these are so comfortable that I bought a second pair just to have around.. each I walk my dog and in the afternoon I also walk him and we go to parks so it’s really wonderful to have some shoes that you’re really feeling like you’re in the clouds. I definitely recommend these shoes just for the fact of the style and the comfort.. they are a bit expensive though. But in my book, there’s no price to pay when it comes to your feet. Check them out.

I am a longtime Hoka wearer, for at least 5 years and have owned probably 25 pairs. I am an avid runner of 75 miles+ weekly and burn through shoes fast. I gave these a try for running + lifting days. I don’t love them for either, but they cross-over enough that I don’t need to bring two pairs of shoes to the gym and change midway through. They are too clunky for me to be a great running shoe. For my running shoes, I like the Hoka All Gender Rocket X (have bought at least 8-10 pairs) but I hate the X2 colors so I am working through my stashed reserve. Bought these in white because I am sick of the loud, vibrant, in your face colors sometimes. For the gym, the heel is too stacked to be a great cross trainer, but again, it’s good enough to not bring 2 pairs of shoes for a workout. Biggest complaint though is that the toe box is SO WIDE. Look at the top-down picture of the shoe, it’s very wide. It’s like a Ronald McDonald shoe up there. These are cut for someone with a wider foot and/or a man since men genetically, as a whole, have wider feet than women, even if length is the same. I am a women’s 12 to 12.5 which should be a men’s 10.5 or 11, and unisex womens12/mens 11 fits in the length but they are very wide and I have to cinch them down like crazy.

I have a bunion on top of my big toe rather than on the side and have been looking for a shoe that has a rocker soul and doesn’t break across the front. This one is perfect. It’s lightweight and very sturdy at the same time. Yay Hoka!

I am an oddball when it comes to fitting my shoes, normally I have to buy the 2E extra wide version of a shoe, but not with these. For the first time in my life, I was able to buy the normal shoe (non wide) and put in on and literally hit the ground running. To give some context, for the past 2 years I have only had Bondi’s size 11.5 2E, but back then I was heavier (about 290lbs+-), Bondies where very forgiving to my untrained/wrong/incorrect striking to the floor form, but they allowed me to lose some weight and practice my form and make corrections. Now that I am lighter, I have shifted my normal running stance, corrected my striking form. Because Bondi’s tend to be on the plush side when striking the floor, I noticed that was absorbing my momentum energy as well, thus robbing me 2cents of momentum, it was a little, but when aggregated would signify a great deal of energy/momentum being lost into the sinkhole. Enter the Transport X, they are bouncy rather than plush, they are extremely comfortable at the wide of my feet!!! They fit like a glove the very first day, to me that has never happened. I run 5k at a minimum when I go out and the 3-4 time I used them, I started experimenting with different strike styles that I have learned. Suddenly I felt like there was a gust of air around me, but there was no wind that day, to my own amazement, was the wind hitting my earphones because I was displacing the air in front!, I immediately thought to myself, “I have never being able to go this fast!!!”, once conscious of this, my vision started experiencing this eerie effect that I don’t know how to better to describe (parallax maybe). Long story short, my very first run got me to beat my personal all time 5k record, the second day went even faster and so on… you get the gist. To be honest, I have had them for not more than a month and I don’t never ever write reviews for anything, but these Transport’s I thought deserved a mention. In my book well worth $.

DO NOT ORDER THROUGH ZAPPOS/AMAZON. They sent me the WRONG SIZE, the WRONG BRAND, the WRONG COLORS. Completely ridiculous since I was waiting for these shoes so I can stop wearing my boot after recovering from foot surgery. SO. LAME.

Have an arthritic left foot and often experience pain when walking. These shoes offer a pain- free experience, especially when on my feet.
Vasara –
I got these in all black to wear every day, and they are perfect for that. They felt comfortable from the moment I put them on, the rocker style feels great when walking – just a bit of help with that heel to toe motion. It’s especially good for me because I had an Achilles rupture injury, and these sneakers are not putting any strain on my Achilles.
I’d say they run pretty true to size, maybe somewhat on a roomier side. I am a female and normally wear 9.5-10 , and got 9.5 fit well. Also, the toe-box is roomy enough to accomodate my feet which are somewhat wide at the toes.
All in all, I love these sneakers so much that I might get them in another color too.

I have never purchased a pair of shoes where you put them on and they are instantly comfortable. These are the ones and I am very happy with them. My feet run wide and these fit perfectly. Like walking on air, just glide!

No cushioning in footbed whatsoever! No arch support! Very flimsy upper body (just a thin layer of rubbery plastic). Definitely not worth even 1/8th of this price (if that!). Too narrow (although that’s because it only came in a medium and I have extra wide feet). Overall this is a terrible shoe.

Total protection for my turf toe!

My feet did not hurt AT ALL standing all day at my job. They feel the best on my feet. The center width of the shoe and toe box is extremely comfortable and spacious. No pinching and didn’t need to special order a wide width and the rocker on the shoe feels good walking. It’s like I got a bounce to my step and it feels stable. I feel taller and notice a little bit better posturing while standing. Wow just wow. I have never had such pain free shoe experience until wearing this pair. Very lightweight and the mesh upper makes this shoe breathable. Steep price but now I know the quality, I will keep purchasing for the future as long as it’s available

The transport x are my first pair of Hokas. I did an annoying amount of research and try ons and reviews before I felt they would be the best shoe for what I was looking for. I am a mail man and on my feet a lot and these shoes not only keep up with me they propel me to do my best. I am so in love with these shoes. I am glad they are not as wide looking as some of the other styles but now that I have these I know the bondis will likely be my next purchase. I’ve been converted from my two decades o nike love and my feet have never been happier.
AZ D –
These shoes are very rigid; they have no arch support and they are NOT flexible at all. I tried running on my indoor treadmill with these and that lasted for about 3 minutes. Worst shoes I have ever had.

I’m so disappointed in Hoka shoes. The toe boxes generally look wide, almost clownish, and yet there is never enough room for my bunion.
This style seemed to have extra cushion throughout the foot bed, not just at the heel, so I was even more disappointed that it did not work for me.

These are the most comfortable everyday sneakers I have found so far. I walk 1-2 miles around my university’s hilly campus every day and these shoes have kept my feet very comfortable for over 150 miles. I really hope Hoka releases more colors/versions of this shoe instead of discontinuing them. This shoe far exceeds the comfort of a Solimar, Bondi, or Clifton shoe for daily use.
PAC M –
These are my new dress shoes. It is nice to have them in black. Astonishingly comfortable. I teach classes standing on my feet for eight hours each day I teach and my feet are still okay at the end of the day.
Cindy –
Super comfy and a nice wide toe area.
NealM –
I saw these shoes at an incredible discounted and just had to try them. They are better than I expected . Very comfortable for being on my feet and walking all day. And they look fantastic!

I’ve been loyal to Hoka for years, wearing nothing else but them. I’ve gravitated toward to any model with a carbon fiber plate due to a worsening big toe joint. I recently had that toe fused, and was seeking a new shoe that I could wear comfortably and confidently. Bring on the Transport X. I bought a black pair and a white pair, and they will become my work and play shoe of choice. With ample room in the toe and the stiffness in the sole, I am walking better post-surgery than I thought I would. Please keep this model around!

These are the best sneakers I have ever owned. Perfect for me. I love them. I purchased a second pair because they are my perfect shoe and I really really hope they keep making them:
1. I often buy wide sizes because I just don’t like tighter shoes. These are excellent – wider toe box and normal midfoot, look streamlined despite being roomy.
2. Feels like a spring in my step. It has really really helped my foot pain!! At first I was not sure, but I realized almost immediately that I missed them when I took them off. My first rocker bottoms, which took a little while to get used to, then I added my own insole for a little more arch support. Within a week I took them on a trip, and I bought a second pair as soon as I got home.
3. I personally like how lightweight they are. I don’t need thick sneakers, these feel supportive but not suffocating.
My only comments to Hoka:
– more colors!!! All black and all white are not that versatile.
– I am super happy that they don’t have some awful thick tongue that annoys my ankle, but currently they are a little hard to put on because the tongue is short and folds under easily. I think even if it was just a slight bit longer it would be better.

I am on my feet for 12 hours a day , and with a recovered broken spine. I didn’t think shoes could really make this much of a difference, but I’m even walking straight. Compared to the pigeon toe step I usually take when I’m exhausted. Those nurses were right!

Carbon fiber sole is perfect for arthritis in toes. Wish Hoka made this shoe with good tread as flat bottom is a no go for winter slippery walking
