I spent 17 years in the Army and have had every name brand of running shoe ever made. I thought I’ve had several “great” pairs that were supportive and/or helped my stride, joint fatigue, etc. But after going for my first short run in my HOKA’s I am convinced that I will never own another brand for that purpose. I’ve been telling everyone I know, so now I am telling you, good people of the internet the same thing. Spend the money, they are worth every penny. I am hopeful that they will come out with some more stylish options soon, but these were the best looking ones for me.

Used for one week for normal walking and to the gym. Lightly worn with rotating between old Nike shoes and this. Within a week I noticed the rubber on the sole falling off. This indicates horrible quality and for its premium price, totally not worth it. Comfortability is mediocre and customer service was terrible. Company provided label for return service but its going to take 5-10 days by USPS. Customer service (Natalie) lacks problem solving and empathy for these type of issues. Horrible product quality, wouldnt recommend purchasing considering you may have to go through the hassle of returning.

Great shoes, they fit and feel great on my feet. I got the shoes on July 21, 2024. The adhesive holding the fabric around the shoelaces is starting to come undone. Hoka if you’re going to charge me a premium for shows I expect better quality.

Bought these shoes for the gym. Tired them on and immediately noticed it was extremely uncomfortable on the inside arch of my feet .
I have never worn wide shoes, but these seemed way to narrow in the standard width.

I had never heard of the HOKA brand but when I needed new shoes because My arches had been bothering me, my wife suggested the brand. The website is one of the best I’ve ever used, I especially liked how it recommended which model and size based on what I have worn before. The fit of a shoe is paramount and the website gave me confidence to buy a pair online, something I’ve never done before as I always want to try them on first. The Kawana’s are a perfect fit and after 2 weeks of working out in them have not experienced any of the arch or calf issues I had before. Well done!

I have been wearing Hoka shoes for the last year & I can say that the freedom from lower back pain, sciatic nerve discomfort & sore feet is practically non existence. The longer you wear them the better they feel. Thank you Hoka. Please give Hoka shoes a try. They are well worth the investment. You won’t be disappointed

I really only wear HOKA’s. They are the only shoe that does not flare up my plantar fasciitis. I was looking for a casual shoe that would go with jeans or khaki pants. These are the closest Hoka to not look like a sneaker or sports shoe. I wish there were choices with a leather look and neutral colors. These are close. I have worn them 3 times and I have trouble keeping them tied. No problem with a double knot however.

I originally bought the Kawana 2 for working out and loved them so much I bought another pair for my weekend side work. I love the feel and comfort and my feet don’t hurt at the end of a day of being on my feet. I first purchased the white and black pair and then bought the all black as my second pair. I did notice that the all black pair ran a little bit more snug that the first pair for some reason. I just recently bought another pair and decide to go with the gray. They fit exactly like my first pair. Other than that these have been the best athletic shoes I have ever purchased

I’m a senior pastor of a church with over 1,000 people. We are a casual dress church. Sunday is a long day with multiple services. I’m getting older and facing some challenges I’ve never had to deal with before. My feet hurt bad and often after a long Sunday. My son told me to try a nice pair of Hoka’s. My closet is full of Nike and Adidas shoes. I thought they covered my need for comfort. But, my son stays on top of things like this so I took his advice. Purchased the Kawana 2’s. It’s the only pair I wear on Sunday now. Incredible difference and the comfort is unparalleled. I will have to buy a few more pair – maybe gray that matches everything? It they hold up for the long haul, I’m a believer.

I bought these after my old running sneakers finally gave up the ghost (the soles pretty much disintegrated), and after spending a day and a workout breaking them in I have to say they are extremely comfortable. I ended up buying a size larger since “wide” wasn’t available, so they’re a bit snug, but overall my feet didn’t feel strangled by the time I was done wearing them. I would definitely recommend these.
